What’s next?
We wanted to keep you up to date with our development. The latest version is only a few weeks old but we’re really hard at work with the next big thing. No details yet, it’s too early, but we promise that it’s gonna be really big and we’re sure that a lot of people gonna like it.
So, we just need some time to do it right. In the meantime, thanks folks for all your support, we really appreaciate it!

Sounds really good.
I can’t wait.

Could you add an option to enable notifications when no transactions are added for a certain period of time? I mean, some sort of reminder. There are some days when you are too busy in which you might forget to add transactions. Just an idea.
Ash - 22. April 2010
please add rollback for past months… it does not make sense looking at your money becoming Zero every 1st day of the month
Vincent - 23. April 2010
@Ash : it’s allready here since http://moneybookapp.com/blog/?p=473
See the comments. because it’s here, but not with a bug.
Tobias - 23. April 2010
I’d like to see in which categorys I spend my money all over the year, not only seperated for every month
Veronica - 25. April 2010
I would like to add my savings account and bill account so it becomes easier to keep track of the entire economy.

Having the option to export as OFX or QFX rather than merely CSV would be awesome! I’ve been trying to find a utility which will convert CSV into OFX; no luck thus far. Unless I’ve missed how this is done, a “transfers” feature would be awesome too ( e.g. transfer from Savings to VISA, or from Savings to Cash-in-Wallet). On that note, a Credit Account(s) would be really nice to have.
Awesome app, keep up the great work!

Can’t wait to see a new features!
I just have finished importing a 12 months data to MoneyBook and I love to use this app. History is so useful that I can’t imagine live without this app anymore.
I’ve 2 requests:
1) a few more incomings category (like: freelance, ebay)
2) Stastistic (with graphs) not only for months but for categories (like a 12 months statistic for “food”).
Maybe one of this will be in new version?
Keep working guys – app is awesome!
Medman - 27. April 2010
It would be great to have the opportunity to enter different repeating intervals than months, maybe weekly, quarterly, yearly…
Medman - 27. April 2010
The Export routine should export UTF-8 encoded CSV-Files (this would support e.g. german umlauts natively in most modern desktop applications).

Hi guys
thanks for a awesome app, that i use every day. It would be very nice if moneybook could have some kind of multiple budget. For example a bank budget and a privat budget.
Im looking very much forward to the next update.

For the next update is it possible to add this new feature? I don’t know how to call it exactly but there should be a debt/credit card/financing account to manage monthly payments for car, laptop, home appliances, etc. When I enter an expense, in addition to subtracting from my saving account, I’d like to be able to specify which debt payment it’s for and have it calculate my remaining debt.
Maldaen - 6. May 2010
iPad-friendly version? Just hoping.
Jorge - 6. May 2010
Its great that you never stop trying to improve this app!
A suggestion if I may: as some already mentioned, it would be nice to have a history graph which illustrates where you spend your money (categories) over time.
Keep up the good work!

I wonder when the next update would take into the app store. I’m having a trouble using this app because there is a bug. When I start the app, the remaining budget meter just go to 1,000 right away! It just increments the meter by 500 when I click other tab and get back to the Overview tab.
I use this app on my iPod Touch 1st Gen. with firmware version 3.1.3 and don’t get it jailbreak.

Hello,
you have made a great app. I use it every day for a few months.
I have some suggestions:
It would be great to have more exprenses categories (like: cosmetics, software, coffe or cigarettes
and more repeating intervals like 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, etc, or exportoption to Quicken Essentials maybe
Thanks.

really excited about some new features.
keep up the good work!!!
Sandro (Admin) - 11. May 2010
thanks @all for the feedback, we read every single comment.
so, we’re hard at work with this update, it’s gonna be our biggest yet. can’t say any release date but we’re making good progress and are already testing most of the new stuff, so it’s not soooo far away
MrHelloO - 11. May 2010
Hi ! Please give us an iPad version and, a mobile phone icon ! Thanks !
6mik - 12. May 2010
Yeh , i can t wait for the new release. It is one of my favourite app, the design is awesome, that why i choose it first, but it is really usefull too (thanks for the rollover option)
Luck for the developpement
ps: why not multiple account for the next version ? Sometime i want to install your app twice if it was possible to manage severals budget (i mean several bank accounts , it could be good)
cary - 12. May 2010
really like your app. curious if you are thinking about multi-iphone families who share a budget? i’d love to easily share the same budget with my wife who also uses an iphone.
SoMoN - 13. May 2010
More customisation would be great, but at this time we can’t ask you too much as long as you keep upgrading the app by yourselves.
Anyway if you need french localisation services, you’ve got my email.
Can’t wait for the next update

you should encourage developers to vote for the MoneyBook App at the Apple Design Awards 2010!!

I’ve bought your app just some days ago and I love it! Thanks!
But, as Tobias, I miss the posibility of having a single stat for any category. I mean: you click at, for instance, the car and you see the total expense and every transaction in that category. I’m sure it’s very easy to do.
And why not the current month stat for the whole year at a glance? (I don’t find the current year stat too useful…).
Thank-you anyway!!
Portorosa - 19. May 2010
And what about having periodical but not monthly expenses? For instance, the car insurance or some taxes, every x months, so the app gives you a real foreseen for those months?
I think it would be really helpfull.
Thanks again.

Great app! An iPad version would make it even greater, though!
